Karim Benzema wants to know why he is being an outcast for France

It’s been almost 2 years since KarimBenzema has represented France at the international stage in a competitive match as the Real Madrid player is not being valued by the head coach of the French national side Didier Deschamps.

This is something that has started to seriously worry and frustrate KarimBenzema as the 29 year old attacker is one of the most influential players for Real Madrid along with Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale but despite playing such a big role for the Spanish club, Benzemacant even get called up to play for France.

There is no doubt whatsoever that KarimBenzema is one of the most talented players in the world of football as he has consistently been able to perform at a high level with Real Madrid which has allowed him to make over 30 appearances in almost every single season with the Spanish club.

However, this has not been enough for him to play for his national side in over 1 year and Benzema has recently voiced his thoughts concerning his current uncomfortable position as the French attacker said:

“What I would like is to at least have a discussion with the coach that he tells me what he thinks. I have to know. The last time I spoke to the coach on the phone, it was well before the Euro. He told me, ‘Karim, I’m going to tell you something you’re not going to like. I’m not going to pick you.’

“At the time, I was very disappointed, I didn’t need explanations. We haven’t had contact since. But today, having taken a step back, I would like him to explain to me why he doesn’t pick me and why it continues. I ask myself that question every day.”

From the looks of it, Didier Deschamps has already told Benzema that he is not in his plans but what the Real Madrid forward wants to know is why and it’s something that has been in his mind for the past few weeks and even months.
