BENZEMA NOW HAS 50-50 CHANCE OF RETURNING AGAINST INTER

In what will come as good news with everyone associated with Real Madrid Football Club, it has been declared that French striker Karim Benzema may likely return from injury against Inter Milan as both clubs lock horns in the UEFA Champions League this week.

Benzema missed Madrid’s 1-1 draw with Villarreal on Saturday due to injury and it was declared earlier that he will be missing the Inter game. However, a recent statement has been released insinuating that the star striker could be back to the starting eleven as he looks to help his side secure a win.

Italian newspaper GazzettaDello Sport released the report that will get Real Madrid sweating fans sweating over the fitness of their star striker.

Benzema trained alone yesterday away from his teammates in a bid to continue his rehabilitation. The same yesterday, he underwent some scans and had some assessment tests done. The results of the tests show that his condition has slightly improved and the possibility of him returning against Antonio Conte’s Inter Milan side has now been given a huge boost.

Real Madrid and Spain captain Sergio Ramos remains sidelined for the game and has a very low possibility of making it to the San Siro on Wednesday night in the crunch tie.

According to the report, Raphael Varane is the only certain fixture at the heart of the Real Madrid defense, who recently recovered from an injury problem. His potential partner could be Nacho Fernández.

Zidane’s men will be hoping his side comes up with a much-needed win at the San Siro having drawn their last league match away to Villarreal.

Inter on the other hand will be looking to build their form after coming from two goals down to thump Torino 4-2 at home in the league on Sunday.
