Real Madrid centre forward, Karim Benzema, is returning to full fitness at just the right time for Real Madrid, who will play Atletico Madrid in the Champions League final on May 28 after moving past their semi-final opponents in Man City with a 1-0 aggregate.
Coach Zinedine Zidane was relieved to see the Frenchman come back from a hamstring problem and score in Sunday’s 3-2 triumph over Valencia. The victory kept Real Madrid just a point behind League leader Barcelona, with one game to go in the race for the title.
Zidane told Real Madrid’s website:
“He’s not been at 100 percent for a while. We’ve seen that it wasn’t easy for him physically.
“(Against Valencia) he coped with it well and without any problems. We’ve got two games left. He’s getting better every day and he’s not feeling any discomfort from his last injury.”
The French striker has missed 15 games this season through injury but has still scored 28 goals in 34 games in all competitions — close to his record of 31 goals in the 2011-12 campaign, the year Real last won La Liga. The 28-year-old has found the back of the net in 20 of his 34 appearances for Real in the 2015-16 campaign, scoring six more goals than last season. Cristiano Ronaldo is Real’s leading scorer in the league with 33 goals. Continue reading KARIM BENZEMA TO PLAY IN CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL

GuusHiddink’s reign in charge of the Dutch national football team lasted for 1 year and 3 months as he took charge of the national side on March of 2014 and it reached it’s end on June 2015.
When he signed his contract as the coach of Netherlands, the terms in this deal originally stated that Hiddink was going to be the manager of the national team at least until the 2016 Euro’s but his time at the helm did not survive as long due to a string of unsatisfying results.
With Louis van Gaal at the helm, Netherlands was able to make it into the semifinals of the 2014 as they overcame opponents such as: Mexico, Costa Rica, Spain, Chile and Australia before eventually being eliminated when facing off with Argentina.
Despite being knocked out in the semifinals by Argentina, it was still an impressive campaign for Louis van Gaal and his players. Things quickly began to take a downhill path after Louis van Gaal decided to step down from coaching the national side as he took charge of Manchester United.
GuusHiddink was the man selected to replace Louis van Gaal and Hiddink struggled trying to secure consistent victories as they lost against Italy, Czech Republic and Iceland. Netherlands is even in danger of not qualifying into the 2016 Euro’s as they are currently positioned in the 3rd spot of Group A after only being able to secure 10 points from 6 matches. Iceland and Czech Republic are ahead of them in the group. Continue reading A string of underwhelming results have led to GuusHiddink being sacked
KarimBenzema is one of the highest rated forwards in the world of football as the Frenchman doesn’t struggle scoring goals and even though he plays in a team which is filled with superstars, he still manages to make an impact in the club and make his presence be felt by his teammates and his opponents as well.

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti says that he is not interested in signing new players in the January transfer window since he’s more than happy with the current crop of players. Madrid set a new record of winning 20 matches in succession.
The likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, and Gareth Bale have been extremely impressive, while summer signings like Toni Kroos have also settled in well. Despite the good run, Madrid do not seem to have the strongest squad – especially in terms of numbers – in Europe. Hence, it has been suggested that Ancelotti may dip into the transfer window as a Christmas present from the club.
The former Chelsea and Paris St Germain manager has ruled out the possibility by saying that he remains content with the squad. This has also suggested that Karim Benzema is unlikely to be sold in the next month. The French forward has been linked with a return to France with PSG ready to pay huge sums of money. Benzema recently went on a run of more than 10 matches in which he assisted or scored a goal. He is often viewed as the pet signing of Madrid president Florentino Perez, but that has not stopped him from being linked with a January move.
“No[buying players], not for Christmas (laughs). Only thing I want is to go on vacation. After that, we’ll see about Modric and James’s condition. Both are recovering well and we might not need any new players. This wasn’t an easy game. The result is deceiving. The truth is Almería fought hard, and we struggled with possession. It wasn’t until the very end that we were able to control the game, with Ronaldo’s goals. This has been an unforgettable year. This team deserves a very high grade. We finish a year where we won lots of trophies, including La Décima,” said Ancelotti.
